Benelli 502S Preview

Showcased at the 2018 Thai Motor Show, the Benelli 502S is the company’s newest addition to the middle-weight cruiser range. Similar to the 402S, the Benelli 502S draws inspiration, or rather borrows its design and styling cues from the Ducati Diavel. While the design is exactly identical to the 402S, the 502S ups the ante with a higher-displacement 500cc parallel-twin liquid-cooled mill that pushes out 47bhp of power and 45Nm of torque, and it comes mated to a six-speed manual gearbox. There is no word on the expected launch date of the power-cruiser, 502S. However, we expect Benelli to launch this motorcycle at the beginning of 2020. The pricing of the Benelli 502S is somewhat expected to be north of ?5 lakh, and at that price, the 502S will be competing against the Kawasaki Vulcan S and Harley-Davidson Street 750.
