The Xtreme 160R is Hero’s latest naked motorcycle. The bike will be launched in April 2020. Main highlight of the new Xtreme 160R is its edgy design and an overall contemporary look. The motorcycle comes with all-LED lighting and comes shod with 100-section front & 130-section rear tyre (radial), which combined give it a very mean appearance. It also comes with an all-new digital instrument cluster. The Xtreme 160R get an all-new diamond frame, and its BS6 compliant 160cc air-cooled engine is also new. The engine develops 15bhp of power and 14Nm of peak torque, and comes mated to a 5-speed gearbox. The main advantage this bike has over its competition is its weight – or rather lack of it – as it tips the scales at just 138.5 kilos. According to Hero, the Xtreme 160R can clock 0-60km/h in 4.7 seconds. The Xtreme 160R features 37mm 37mm Showa front forks and a mono-shock at the rear. It’s available in two versions – one with dual disc (276mm front & 220mm rear), while the other is offered only with a front disc and drum back at the rear. Single-channel ABS is standard. The Xtreme 160R is expected to be priced starting at Rs 95,000 (ex-showroom)
